Meet Jaren Soloff, RD, IBCLC — Founder + Practice Owner
“I committed myself to doing things differently.”
Before becoming a mother, I spent years struggling with food obsession, body image issues, and diet culture.
Even after healing much of my relationship with food, the transition into motherhood brought a new set of challenges, leaving me feeling unsupported in my physical and mental well-being.
Becoming a mother to a daughter was a turning point. I realized that if I didn’t fully heal my relationship with food, I would continue the cycle of dieting and disordered eating that so many women experience. I committed to change—not just for myself, but for the next generation.
I pursued my degree as a Registered Dietitian, worked in eating disorder treatment, and later trained as an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC). I learned firsthand how critical maternal health is to our families and communities. Now, I support women in nourishing themselves and their babies from the very beginning.
I created Whole Women Nutrition so you can know that healing is possible for you, too. Whether you are on a journey of eating disorder recovery, navigating postpartum changes, or looking to build a healthier relationship with food, I would be honored to support you.

My journey as a lactation consultant began in 2018 at WIC, where I saw firsthand the profound impact of supporting breastfeeding families. In 2023, I became an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC), adding to my expertise as a Registered Dietitian with over a decade of experience in women’s health, pre- and postpartum nutrition, and child nutrition.
I am passionate about empowering families with the knowledge and support they need to achieve their feeding goals. Outside of work, I enjoy long walks, paddle boarding, cooking, and hiking with friends. I look forward to meeting you and helping you feel confident in nourishing your family.
* Please Note: as of June 2025, Jennie is out on Maternity Leave
Crystal McIntosh, IBCLC — Lactation Consultant
“I want to ensure a nurturing and positive breastfeeding experience.”
As a mother of five, I deeply understands both the joys and challenges that come with breastfeeding and feeding. My personal feeding journey inspired me to become a dedicated lactation consultant, committed to supporting families with compassionate, evidence-based care.
With extensive clinical expertise working with families in private practice and a background in pharmacology, I specialize in managing common and complex feeding challenges such as bottle refusal and oral function concerns, including tongue and lip ties. I work with families from a holistic lens that prioritizes the health and well-being of both parent and child, ensuring that every feeding experience is nurturing, comfortable, and positive.
My goal is to empower families through education, personalized strategies, and gentle support to build confidence and foster successful feeding relationships- whether through breastfeeding, pumping & bottle feeding or combination feeding approaches.

I WANT TO BE THE SUPPORT AND HELP I NEEDED.”
My journey into lactation consulting began with my own experience breastfeeding my first daughter until she was four years old. Through this, I saw firsthand the challenges many families face and recognized the critical need for compassionate, informed support around feeding—whether that’s breastfeeding, formula feeding, or a combination of methods.
I personally navigated breastfeeding challenges and postpartum depression, which deepened my understanding of how essential a nurturing and judgment-free space is for families. This inspired me to dedicate my career to providing collaborative, individualized care that honors each family’s unique feeding journey.
Clinically, I’ve expanded my expertise with additional training in managing bottle refusal, oral dysfunction, and low milk supply—equipping me to support a broad range of feeding concerns with confidence and compassion.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my two wonderful daughters and husband, dancing to hip-hop beats, journaling through scrapbooking, getting lost in a good romance novel, and binge-watching K-dramas.
